About leaving your hometown behind
Human Astronomy EP comes just as Sevish moves away to the UK midlands. “I always found my little patch of London to be a big source of inspiration. Both the estate I grew up in and the landscape of the inner city are locations which have coloured my music.” Human Astronomy features Sevish’s last compositions in London; it is a ‘good bye, see you again soon’ release. It’s also a ‘next time we meet I’ll have so much to show you’ release.
1. Human Astronomy
2. Enterprise
3. Ambrosia
4. Movement
5. Dreaming Enhasa
Genre: drum & bass, breakbeat, electronic
The EP expands on the style from Sevish’s last album Golden Hour: unique harmonies with personality, microtonal exploration, and big scatterbrained beats.
